Services & Specialties
I offer one-on-one therapy for adults navigating a wide range of experiences. Sessions are 55 minutes and available virtually across Illinois, as well as in person in Chicago. I am also licensed in North Dakota and will soon be offering virtual sessions for ND residents. More on that in the coming months.
My work is integrative, meaning I don't use a single rigid framework, but draw on a range of evidence-based and depth-oriented approaches tailored to what you actually need.
What I specialize in
Trauma & PTSD Trauma changes the way we see ourselves and the world. Whether you've experienced a single overwhelming event or a lifetime of smaller wounds that added up, we can work together to process what happened, release what you've been holding, and help you feel more at home in your own body and life. I have formal training in Complex Trauma and use trauma-informed approaches throughout all of my work.
Life Transitions & Aging Big changes — a new job, a move, the end of a relationship, a shift in identity, life post-retirement, and the complexities of aging — can leave you feeling unmoored even when the change is one you wanted. Therapy can be a grounding place to make sense of what's shifting, clarify what you want, and find your footing.
LGBTQ+ Identity & Affirmation I offer affirming, knowledgeable care for queer, trans, and non-binary adults. Whether you're exploring your identity, navigating coming out, seeking support around gender transition, or simply looking for a therapist who gets it — you're welcome here. I also provide letters of readiness for gender-affirming surgery.
Anxiety Anxiety can be exhausting — the constant mental chatter, the tension in your body, the sense that something bad is always around the corner. I work with anxiety not by trying to eliminate it, but by helping you build a different relationship with it, so it no longer runs your life.
Depth Work & Meaning-Making Some people come to therapy not in crisis, but with a feeling that something is missing — a hunger for more meaning, more authenticity, more understanding of who they really are. This kind of work is some of my favorite. If you're drawn to exploring the deeper layers of your inner life, we'll go there together.
Grief & Loss Grief is one of the most disorienting human experiences — and one of the most universal. Whether you're mourning a death, the end of a relationship, a loss of identity, or a life you thought you'd have, grief deserves real space and real attention. I bring a contemplative, unhurried approach to grief work, drawing on Buddhist teachings on impermanence alongside somatic and depth-oriented practices to help you move through loss without bypassing it.

For Therapists
Doing this work is meaningful, and it asks a lot of us. I offer two spaces specifically for fellow clinicians. These are spaces strictly for peer support and do not offer any psychotherapeutic services. Please inquire for further details.
Virtual Meditation Space
A quiet space for therapists to pause, settle, and practice together. I offer simple, accessible meditation without any expectation of prior experience or belief. Come as you are, and leave a little more grounded. Sittings typically last for ~25 minutes, begin with a short reading from the Pali Canon or the Dhammapada, and end with a short check-in for anyone who feels compelled to share their experience or insights. Any Buddhist readings are offered as reflection, not instruction.
Support Group for Therapists Living with Chronic Illness or Disability
Many of us hold space for others while managing our own bodies, limits, and unpredictable days. This group is a place to be understood without having to explain: to talk openly about pacing, boundaries, disclosure, and the particular tenderness of doing this work from inside a body that needs care too. It draws on my own lived experience with chronic illness and my history running mutual aid groups
